Virginia Paving Congratulates Joe and Nancy Mulraney
for Being Named Foster Family of the Year
(CHANTILLY, Va.)—Milling foreman Joe Mulraney (Alexandria branch) and wife Nancy were recently named the 2006 Foster Family of the Year by the Pennsylvania State Foster Parent Association.
“Virginia Paving is very proud of Joe and Nancy,” says Mark Schiller, district manager of Virginia Paving Company. “They’re so deserving of this wonderful recognition—we could not be happier for them.”
The Mulraney’s received the recognition this May during national Foster Parent Month. Joe and Nancy have three foster children, as well as a son and two adopted boys. They have cared for 18 foster children over 21 years.
“Joe is a terrific foreman,” adds Dan Hoyt, Alexandria branch manger. “Best of all, he’s a wonderful person who clearly has his heart in the right place. Everyone at the Alexandria location is happy for Joe and Nancy—what a great honor.”
